This is a photograph of a Striolated Tit-Spinetail (Leptasthenura striolata), a Brazilian endemic, that Brad took while we were birding the escarpment at Colinhas do São Francisco during the morning of October 8, 2011. This bird has a streaked mantle, black bill, long pointed tail feathers, and a whitish supercilium. Temperatures were in the 80's on this humid, partly cloudy morning.
