After leaving Guardião das Aguas (Boy Scout Camp Marsh) on the morning of October 6, 2011, we headed to Bariqui Park in Curitiba. This is a photo of a Tropical Parula (Parula pitiayumi) that we saw while hiking one of the paved trails in the park. Yellow underparts, blue-gray upperparts, two white wing bars, and a lack of pale eye arcs distinguish this species. Temperatures were in the low 80's on this sunny afternoon.
