We spent about an hour waiting for the Atlantic Royal Flycatcher (Onychorhynchus coronatus swainsonii) to return to its nest on the afternoon of October 20, 2011. All we got was this photograph of the bird's current nest which was constructed near the previous year's nest. The walk along the trail leading down from the Hotel Simon was pleasant and led to a waterfall that was near the nest. Temperatures were in the 60's on this partly cloudy day.
