We photographed this Blue Dacnis (Dacnis cayana) on October 13, 2011, from the covered porch of Pousada Pica Pau at Intervales State Park. The female is a bright emerald green color with a turquoise-colored head. The legs and feet are pink. Temperatures on this cloudy morning with intermittent rain were in the 60's.
