We photographed this Creamy-bellied Thrush (Turdus amaurochalinus) while birding Intervales State Park in Brazil on October 13, 2011. Upperparts are a dull olive-brown color. Underparts are creamy-white. A white crescent lies below a strongly streaked throat. The bill is yellow, and the bird's lores are dark. Temperatures on this cloudy morning with intermittent rain were in the 60's. Intervales State Park is located on a 3,300 foot high escarpment in the State of São Paulo in the Paranapiacaba mountain range/upper Ribeira Valley, southwest of the city of São Paulo and north of Curitiba.
