We drove from REGUA (Reserva Ecológica de Guapiaçu) to Nova Friburgo and on to Sumidouro during the latter part of the morning of October 23, 2011. After enjoying splendid views of several Three-toed Jacamars, we did some additional birding in the area. Brad photographed a side view of a Crested Oropendola, Psarocolius decumanus, perched in a tree. Temperatures were in the low 70's on this partly cloudy afternoon.
