We spent the early part of the morning of October 20, 2011, birding around our hotel, the Hotel do Ype, in Itatiaia National Park. Later that morning, we birded around the Hotel Simon and along the Tres Picos Trail where Brad photographed some of the vegetation along the trail. Temperatures were in the 70's on this partly cloudy day.
