On our last day in Brazil, we took an add-on tour (six people) with our guide, Ricardo, and van driver to visit the city of Rio de Janeiro and see some of the sights. Tijuca National Park with its colossal sculpture of Christ the Redeemer was one of the places we visited. We spotted this Maroon-bellied Parakeet, Pyrrhura frontalis, peeking out from its nest hole.
