We spent the remainder of the afternoon and early evening of October 20, 2011, birding pasture lands below Itatiaia National Park. Two Streamer-tailed Tyrants (Gubernetes yetapa) put on quite a show for us as they flew into their territory and conducted territorial displays of one raising and lowering its wings while the second bird flapped its wings. Brad photographed this bird as it was coming in for a landing. Temperatures were in the 60's on this partly cloudy day.
