Brad and I spent the late afternoon of October 22, 2011, sitting on the covered porch area of the Guapi Assu Bird Lodge watching different species of birds coming into the feeders. This male Violet-capped Woodnymph, Thalurania glaucopis, has a violet cap and green underparts. Temperatures were in low 70's.
