Mid-afternoon on October 21, 2011, we stopped along the Rio Alambari to bird on our way to REGUA (Rio de Janeiro). Highlights in this area included scope views of a Chopi Blackbird, a Campo Flicker nesting, and a White-tailed Hawk. Brad photographed this White-tailed Hawk, Buteo albicaudatus, as it flew over us. Temperatures were in the upper 60's on this partly cloudy day.
