After lunch and a siesta on October 13, 2011, we drove to Sede de Pesquizas and from there walked along the wide-track road to the Plovercrest Lek. Along the way, we photographed this Yellow-olive Flycatcher (Tolmomyias sulphurescens). Upperparts are olive, and the head is gray with white lores and a narrow eye-ring. The throat and breast are gray, and the belly is a pale olive-yellow color. Temperatures on this cloudy day with intermittent rain were in the 60's. Intervales State Park is located on a 3,300 foot high escarpment in the State of São Paulo in the Paranapiacaba mountain range/upper Ribeira Valley, southwest of the city of São Paulo and north of Curitiba.
