We photographed this Chalk-browed Mockingbird in the back courtyard of Hotel das Cataratas in Iguaçu Falls during the afternoon of September 29, 2011. It's a bird of open wooded areas, including urban and suburban gardens. The weather was hot with temperatures in the upper 90's.
