On our first afternoon in Iguaçu Falls National Park, Brad and I birded along the road leading from our hotel to the Devil's Throat area of Iguaçu Falls (Brazilian side). This large aracari can be distinguished from similar species by the dark red band across its yellow underparts. It was a sunny day with temperatures ranging from highs in the 90's to lows in the 70's.
