This is a photo of a Green-winged Saltator that we saw perched near the pavillion/dock area along the Poço Preto (Black Well) Road in Iguaçu Falls National Park during the afternoon of September 30, 2011. Temperatures on this humid day were over 100 degrees. I heard the melodic song of this bird. Unfortunately, it was at a gas station where the bird was kept in a cage.
