Our hotel, Hotel das Cataratas, was located across the road from Iguaçu Falls, Brazil. We took this photo of the falls just before we began walking down the road towards Devil's Throat. Temperatures were in the upper 90's. Iguaçu Falls (Cataratas do Iguaçu in Portuguese) are waterfalls of the Iguaçu River located along the border of the Brazilian State of Paraná and the Argentine Province of Misiones. The view of the falls from the Brazilian side was spectacular.
