We experienced heavy rain between 0800-1000 on October 1, 2011. We sheltered under the small pavillion located on the Poço Preto (Black Well) Road in Iguaçu Falls National Park. Temperatures were in the 70's on this rainy morning. Around 1000, it cleared enough for us to do some birding. The Three-striped Flycatcher was perched in a nearby tree with gray skies as a backdrop.
