This is a photo of an Yellow-olive Flycatcher that we saw while birding along the Poço Preto (Black Well) Road in Iguaçu Falls National Park during the afternoon of September 30, 2011. Temperatures on this humid afternoon were over 100 degrees. Over its entire range, Tolmomyias sulphurescens shows significant variations in plumage, iris-colour and voice (we heard a zhee call), leading to speculations that more than one species is involved.
