During the morning of April 14, 2012, we visited the Bermejas Reserve near Playa Larga in Cuba. This is a great location to view many of Cuba's endemic species. A male Bee Hummingbird, Mellisuga helenae, is shown in this photo. Temperatures were in the mid-80's on this humid, sunny morning.
