We were headed to lunch at Doña Etilia Restaurant on Cathedral Square in Old Havana on April 13, 2012, when we photographed this Catholic Church, the Catedral de la Virgen María de la Concepción Inmaculada de La Habana (Cathedral of The Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception). Construction of this church was completed in 1777, and the building is unique because it is the only example of a Baroque facade that was designed with asymmetrical features...the right tower is wider than the left.
