One of our final stops on our Havana city tour on April 13, 2012, was the Granma Memorial near the Museum of the Revolution which is housed in the former Presidential Palace. The Granma is named after the yacht that Castro and his guerrillas used to return to Cuba from exile in Mexico in 1956. The yacht is housed inside a glass enclosure (seen here behind the truck and tank). The "Fast Delivery" truck used in the 1957 assault on the Palacio Presidencial is shown on the left.
