This photograph was taken on April 12, 2012, before our Conservation Exchange at Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve (Las Terrazas) located in the Pinar del Rio Province of Cuba. We were on the back porch of the station when Brad photographed this statue of José Julián Martí, commonly referred to as the "Apostle of Cuban Independence".
