We stopped at the West Horseshoe Park overlook in Rocky Mountain National Park to look at the breathtaking scenery. We photographed this male Red Crossbill as it perched in a tree on the side of the bridge walkway. The bills of the Crossbills that we saw here all crossed in the same direction. It was a partly cloudy morning with temperatures in the mid-60's.
