This photograph of a Brown Pelican was taken during a second morning trip to Bartolome Island in the area of Sullivan Bay and Pinnacle Rock. Before snorkling around the base of Pinnacle Rock, we took pictures of various species in the area. The sunlight playing off the water and sand highlighted the beauty of this bird. It was a sunny morning with temperatures in the mid-70's.
