We began this day with an early morning sea-watch in the waters between Isabella and Roca Redonda and were rewarded with good views of the Galapagos Petrel. This Dark-rumped Petrel, Pterodroma phaeopygia endemic subspecies phaeopygia, is often treated as a separate species, the Galapagos Petrel. Temperatures were in the low 60's with cloudy skies.
