Weather conditions were perfect for our Panga (Zodiac) cruise on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, in the area of Punta Vicente Roca on Isabela. The lava coastline and the waves crashing around us made for an exciting cruise. We saw scores of nesting seabirds and had views of our first Flightless Cormorants. A Common Noddy can be seen flying above the water in this photograph. Temperatures were in the upper 70's on this partly cloudy morning.
