We were in the area of Isabela Island and were taking a Panga ride at Punta Vicente Roca when we took this picture. We were just coming out of a cave-like area when Brad shot upwards to get this shot. Punta Vicente Roca is a popular snorkeling area near the base of Volcán Ecuador in the northwest corner of the island. There is no landing site here. I enjoyed deep water snorkling here just before lunch. Swimming with penguins and sea lions was a memorable experience. Even more exciting was becoming one with a massive school of fish...swimming and turning with them. The water temperature was near 70 degrees (let's face it, it was cold). Air temperatures were in the 80's with partly cloudy skies.
