After breakfast at the Hacienda San Lucas on February 20, 2011, we drove to the world-renowned Mayan archaeological site of Copán where we enjoyed both birding and a guided tour of the ruins. We saw this Boat-billed Flycatcher on the grounds of Copán. Note the bird's brownish-olive colored upperparts and broad, heavy bill. It was a partly cloudy, humid morning with temperatures in the 80's.
