We had an early breakfast (0500) at Pico Bonito Lodge on February 25, 2011, before beginning a morning of birding at Lancetilla Botanical Gardens. After several hours of birding a side road near the entry way, we drove to the visitor center. Brad photographed this Grey Hawk, one of a pair, as it flew over us. It was a sunny morning with temperatures in the upper 80's.
