We were having breakfast at the Hacienda San Lucas on February 20, 2011, when this Ivory-billed Woodcreeper flew in to a nearby tree to feed. The Hacienda is a 100-year old, family-owned retreat that is located in the hills directly above the world-renowned Mayan ruins of Copán. It was a partly cloudy, humid morning with temperatures in the 80's.
