After breakfast at the Hacienda San Lucas on February 20, 2011, we drove to the world-renowned Mayan archaeological site of Copán where we enjoyed both birding and a guided tour of the ruins. Brad photographed this Montezuma Oropendola skulking in a tree on the grounds of Copán. It was a partly cloudy, humid afternoon with temperatures in the 80's.
