After lunch and a siesta on February 19, 2011, we birded the Los Sapos trail at the Hacienda San Lucas. The Hacienda is a 100-year old, family-owned retreat that is located in the hills directly above the world-renowned Mayan ruins of Copán. Brad photographed this female Rose-throated Becard with its bushy black crest as it perched in a nearby tree. It was a partly cloudy, humid afternoon with temperatures in the 80's.
