We had a very early breakfast (0400) at Pico Bonito Lodge on February 26, 2011, before driving to the Aguan Valley to look for the Honduran Emerald at the Honduran Emerald Reserve near Olanchito. We made frequent birding stops on our way to the Reserve. This White-lored Gnatcatcher, with its narrow white supercilium, was one of the birds that we photographed. It was a clear, humid, sunny morning with temperatures in the upper 80's.
