After lunch at Pico Bonito Lodge on February 24, 2011, Brad and I photographed this Yellow-winged Tanager perched in a tree near the lodge's veranda. This species is distinctive and easy to ID. Sexes are similar in appearance. It was a humid, sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 80's.
