This is a photograph that of an interesting sculpture that we saw while walking near our hotel, the Edda, in Akureyri. The city of Akureyri, located in northern part of the country, is Iceland's second largest urban area (after the Greater Reykjavík area). The harbor here is ice-free because of geothermal conditions.
