Gullfoss (Golden Falls) is a waterfall located in the canyon of the Hvítá river in southwest Iceland (northeast of Reykjavik). Gullfoss (pronounced "KOOTL-foss) is a small national park set up to protect the waterfalls and the surrounding area. Brad took this photograph of cairns that were erected on a hilly area near the visitors' center located above the falls. The weather was rainy with temperatures near 12° C.
