We spotted this Redwing walking along one of the hiking trails in Höfði Nature Park. This park is located on the southeastern edge of Lake Mývatn in northern Iceland. Mývatn is a shallow eutrophic lake that is situated in an area of active volcanism and is noted for its duck population. Temperatures were around 20° C. with overcast skies.
