Late in the afternoon of August 11, 2010, we arrived back in Reykjavik. Before dinner (on our own), the group did some site seeing. We took this photograph of Dómkirkjan from Austurvollur Square. This Lutheran church (built in 1847) is across the street from Albingi Parliament House and is notable because Iceland’s national anthem was first sung here in 1874.
