During the morning of Thursday, August 12, 2010, we drove to the east of Reykjavík along Iceland's main ring road, Route 1. The Tungufljot River is located 100km southeast of Reykjavik. It is considered to be a large river (30km long) by Icelandic standards. This sign shows the river and the area surrounding it.
