Astún is one of the two major Aragon Pyrénées ski resorts. Set in the beautiful valley of Aragon, 80km from the French town of Pau, Astún is one of Spain's biggest snowsport zones. Our group headed here to look for Snowfinch. We didn''t find the desired species, but did enjoy spectacular scenery and the cooler temperatures of around 59 degrees.
