We were in the vicinity of Osso de Cinca, a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain, when we spotted this Bee-eater. The species is thrush-sized and is often seen in flocks. The rich arrary of plumage colors seen in adults is one of its attractive features. Next to the European Roller, it was one of our favorite (new) birds. Temperatures were in the low 80's on this sunny morning.
