We were near the village of Quinto, a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, Aragon, visiting various habitats in the area of the Ebro River. We took this photo as the Black Kite came flying overhead. This species is a summer visitor and spends its winters in Africa. It was a hot afternoon with sunny skies and temperatures in the 80's.
