We were leaving the steppes and heading towards Ontiņena, a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain, on May 4, 2009. We had stopped for gas when we saw this Western Jackdaw. This bird's moniker is the 'chimney sweep bird' because it is fond of perching on chimneys. It was a sunny morning with temperatures in the low 60's.
