Before heading to our hotel in Lecina late in the afternoon of May 7, 2009, we stopped at a wooded area looking for Green Woodpeckers. Actually, we got better looks at this small herd of cows and several Egyptian Vultures that had landed in a nearby field. It was a sunny afternoon with clear skies and temperatures in the mid- to upper 60's.
