We woke on May 8, 2009, to warm weather and partly cloudy skies. After breakfast, we took a walk from our hotel, La Choca, through the village of Lecina and headed north towards the village of Betorz. This tit is 13-15 cm in length, 7-9 cm of which consists of its tail. This photo provides a better look at the tit's head and tail features. Temperatures were in the low to high 70's on this clear, late morning hike.
