On May 1, 2009, we visited various habitats throughout the Ebro Delta (Parc Natural del Delta de l'Ebre). One stop we made was at the elevated viewing platform at Casa de Fusta. We were able to see a lot of different species, but most were off in the distance. The Willow Warbler was perched amid the reedy grasses. Early in the day we encountered wet, cold and windy conditions with temperatures in the low 60's. But, as the day progressed, the weather cleared, and temperatures rose to the low 80's.
