Brad took this photograph of wind turbines on the afternoon of May 2, 2009. We had stopped for a picnic lunch in hilly country dotted with cows and old buildings before heading into the dry steppes near Alcaniz. Temperatures were in the low 70's on this sunny afternoon. Note the ubiquitous wind turbines in the background. They seemed to be slowly creeping across the hillsides.
