During our first afternoon in Bergen, we walked to Bergenhus Castle located near the end of the wharf area. Bergenhus is one of the oldest castles still in existence in Norway. It has a long history as a center for ecclesiastical, royal and military history. This is a photograph of a Blue Tit that we saw near the Commandant's Garden. It was a beautiful afternoon with temperatures in the low 70's and partly cloudy skies.
