After breakfast on July 27, 2010, our group (twelve participants and three leaders) boarded a bus and headed out of Bergen toward Voss. Before lunch, we birded around Voss' ski area. Brad photographed this Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly, Aglais urticae, when it landed on some nearby rocks. It was a partly cloudy morning with temperatures in the low to mid-60's.
