On the afternoon of July 28, 2010, we stopped to bird along a lake in Sogn og Fjordane county in the Aurland area. This is a photograph of Common Merganser that we saw near the lake's shore (one of the few birds that we saw). Temperatures were the upper 70's with partly cloudy skies.
